IDEALS psychology research lab stands for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Activism for Liberation and Social change. As our name suggests, our research is guided by our shared ideals of social justice and liberation from oppression.

ABOUT

IDEALS was founded in 2020 by Drs. Mike Cadaret and Lei Wang, both faculty in the Counseling Psychology Graduate Programs at Chatham University. The IDEALS psychology research lab is home to many diverse projects. Our mission is to conduct research that examines social, cultural, and contextual factors that influence self-determination and inclusion.
